Laser yog xyoo pua 20 tom qab lub zog nuclear, khoos phis tawm, khoom siv hluav taws xob, tib neeg' brightest teeb" ;. Lub atom hu ua" laser" vim hais tias ntawm cov tawg ntawm lub teeb.
Raws li cov khoom siv hluav taws xob hauv ib qho me me atom nqus lub zog, lawv dhia tawm los ntawm theem qis zog mus txog qib siab zog, thiab los ntawm cov hluav taws xob zog mus txog qib qis zog. Lasers, ntawm qhov tod tes, yog cov kab xev ntawm photons uas tau ntxias, thiab cov kab hluav taws xob hauv cov kab ntawv ntawm photons muaj cov khoom zoo tib yam thiab muaj qhov zoo sib xws. Piv txwv, cov teeb pom kev zoo tib yam, xws li cov teeb pom kev zoo, tshaj tawm cov duab hluav taws xob sib txawv, thiab yuav khiav hauv cov lus qhia sib txawv, tsis pom zoo heev, tab sis cov photons hauv lub laser yuav tsum xav hauv ib qho chaw, ua haujlwm hauv lwm qhov, uas ua rau lawv tsis pom kev. thiab lub hwj chim.
